Dive into the stories that flow through our waters, bringing together Indigenous traditions and salmon conservation science. Mar 14th to 21st: Roots of the Fraser Learn about trade routes and trade in the river basin. Explore stream restoration to help our salmon reach their spawning grounds in our facilitated programs. Test your skills with our Indigenous language matching game, and add your unique strand to our communal netting art installation—a giant “Web of Life” that grows all week long! Mar 22nd to 29th: Then & Now: Learning from the River Become a junior biologist and learn the vital skill of salmon tagging. Compare different fishing methods in “Tackle(box) in Time” in our facilitated programs. Uncover hidden belongings in our archaeology dig; challenge yourself to match the vessels of the Fraser with their uses, from the past to the present! Who is it for?
