Event Description
Through vibrant renditions of beloved classical Spanish repertoire and explosive arrangements of Argentine tango, BreakFree Art presents a musical experience that traces a transcontinental bridge between the Iberian Peninsula and the Río de la Plata (Argentina/Uruguay). Original compositions by BreakFree Art are placed in dialogue with works by Manuel de Falla, Pablo de Sarasate, Astor Piazzolla, and Osvaldo Pugliese, alongside the poetic writings of Federico García Lorca and Jorge Luis Borges. Together, these voices celebrate both the richness and the cultural syncretism of Spanish and Argentine musical and literary traditions.
Joining Vancouver-based piano powerhouse Aslan Aslanov are an exceptional group of rising artists: Isabella Wang (violin), Isabel Miller Iparraguirre (vocals), Julian Lee De Vita (cello), Aref Zargari (accordion), and Yusif Bayramov (composer).
Together, they invite audiences on a journey of passion, rhythm, and poetry: where continents meet and traditions are reimagined in a powerful, living dialogue.
