This gathering is an opportunity to deepen our collective learning on how to support Black, Indigenous and Youth of Colour (BIPOC youth) by engaging in meaningful conversations about gender-based violence and teen dating violence within learning environments. Together, we aim to cultivate community connections and explore ways educators can support, advocate for and uplift BIPOC youth in culturally responsive and safe ways. Insights from the BIE youth and educators from Greater Victoria schools will help inform the adaption of essential violence prevention curricula designed specifically for BIPOC high school students and their educators. Registration link is the event link.
Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you!
