In this workshop, students with previous experience with tapestry weaving will learn to use colour theory, composition, and texture to create vibrant, attractive landscapes. The workshop will involve a brief review of tapestry techniques, lessons on composition and colour theory, and access to the instructor's feedback throughout the creation of the student's design.

Students must have previously taken an introductory tapestry weaving course. It is recommended that students bring their own looms, but a rental option is available if desired.  Students are welcome to bring a landscape photo for inspiration and some of their own yarn, but it is not required. All materials will be provided.
