The play premiered in London at the Bush Theatre on September 20, 2010. The Aliens was developed, in part, with assistance from The Orchard Project , a program of The Exchange. Moontower Theatre Company initially started as an outlet for producers Tanner Bornowsky and Dylan Leonard to put on plays that inspired them while attending Vancouver Acting School.
