Event Description

Join IPAC Victoria for an engaging evening of in-person policy conversation on the future of institutional trust in British Columbia.

Join IPAC Victoria for an engaging evening of in-person policy conversation on the future of institutional trust in British Columbia. Public trust is a cornerstone of effective governance, yet confidence in public institutions is declining across Canada and other western democracies. In BC, these global trends intersect with unique political, cultural, and economic dynamics, raising urgent questions about how trust is built, lost, and rebuilt. The Trust Imperative brings together leading voices from academia, public policy, and public service to explore what’s driving declining trust, how BC compares to other jurisdictions, and what public institutions can do to respond in a time of rapid change.
