Belgian EBM duo Ultra Sunn bring The Beast In You Tour to Vancouver with support from Devours and guest DJ Evilyn13! Frontman Sam Huge and keyboardist Gaelle Souflet, blend modern EBM/new beat with killer collaborations (Front Line Assembly, Violet Chachki, Twin Tribes, Kontravoid,…) and nods to legends like Front 242 and Nitzer Ebb. Their chart-topping hit “Keep Your Eyes Peeled” put them on the map, and they’ve been unstoppable ever since, performing everywhere from Los Angeles to São Paulo to Berlin. Devours is the dark synth-pop project of Vancouver-based DIY musician Jeff Cancade. Across five acclaimed underground albums, including 2023’s Polaris Prize-longlisted Homecoming Queen, Devours has written confessional and confrontational electronic music about masculinity, body image, gay politics, and inner-city queer existence. They have toured Canada and the US, received coverage from Vice, CBC, Exclaim, and the Globe and Mail, and have performed at festivals such as SXSW, Treefort Music Fest, Sled Island, JunoFest, Vancouver Jazz Fest, and more. Accompanied by David Prowse (Japandroids) on drums, Devours released their highly anticipated fifth album Sports Car Era in 2025, culminating in a flurry of buzz, festival slots across Western Canada, and sold out shows in Vancouver. Evilyn13 is an alternative DJ in the Vancouver nightlife scene and one half of the Restricted Entertainment team. She has been a resident DJ locally at Coffin Club, Sin City Fetish Night and Galaxion and has travelled internationally to DJ where she loves to help people lose themselves in the music she plays.
