On Saturday, January 3rd, 2026, the Ukrainian Studies Society will host its fundraiser - Ukrainian Christmas Eve Traditions Supper. The evening will take the audience through the colourful and meaningful traditions that surround celebrating Christ's birth, from the sighting of the first star by the youngest child, setting an extra place at the table for ancestors and unexpected guests, lighting the candle, 12 meatless dishes in honour of the animals at the manger and carollers bringing greetings in song to the household.
