Come out and explore the beauty of East Sooke Park. This through hike is for ODC members who are comfortable hiking +13km per day in rugged, potentially muddy single track trails with a day pack! Trip will depart Saturday, Nov 22 at 9:00am from the Campus Security parking area and return to UVic at 5pm. Please arrive no later than 8:40am to load the bus and allow us to check people in. Bring water, snacks, lunch and appropriate clothing for the weather. Temperatures in East Sooke are typically 5-10 degrees cooler with wind chill off the water. Dress in layers, bring a shell to break the wind and a day pack. Waterproof footwear is strongly recommended as conditions can be muddy and wet.
