Embrace the warmth of your favourite people singing your favourite (or soon-to-be favourite) songs! Oops! ...ESCHOIR’s done it again. It’s our sixth annual Warm and Toasty: A Choir Cozy! While it might be damn cold outside, ESCHOIR's serving up a night of warm and toasty tunes that's sure to melt your heart and your face. With flaming hot covers of artists like Wolf Alice, Peach Pit, Andrew Bird, and Britney Spears, this not-that-innocent ensemble will have you crushing hard and feeling just a little flushed. So leave your 8-hour Youtube Yule log at home and get fired up for a night that'll leave you totally glowing. Event information Join us for ESCHOIR's Warm and Toasty: A Choir Cozy at the Mel Lehan Hall at St. James Community Square on Saturday, December 13th. Doors open at 7:20pm and the performance begins at 8pm sharp. Tickets for this event are available only through eventbrite—no sales at the door. This event is 16+. Our dry bar will be selling non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, and fundraiser raffle tickets from 7:20pm-7:55pm, during intermission, and then after the show. We welcome audience members who choose to wear masks, and thank you for your consideration! VANCOUVER ABORIGINAL FRIENDSHIP CENTRE SOCIETY We’re raising funds for Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre Society (VAFCS) again this year via sales at our dry bar and another round of incredible raffle prize draws (with $500 worth of prizes)! The Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre Society (VAFCS) is dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of urban Indigenous peoples by providing programs and resources in health, wellness, welfare, social services, human rights, culture, education, and recreation. Founded in 1954 as the Coqualeetza Fellowship Club, VAFCS was created by a group of dedicated individuals to provide support and resources for Indigenous peoples living in Vancouver, British Columbia. Since then, VAFCS has continued to expand and grow in response to the needs of the Indigenous community. https://vafcs.org/
