presented by HEY SHAUNA STUDIO
Sun, June 21 • 6-8pm
In this therapeutic art workshop, we will be exploring two different practices for approaching art as ritual - one for starting each day, and one for ending each day. Practices that we can build IN to our lives, and repeat.
We'll chat about understanding and approaching art-making as a creative care practice ...and creative ritual.
We'll take some space to gather and ground ourselves, together, in community.
We will begin with making a card deck (or at least get it started, this will likely be something you continue to work on beyond our time together). And we'll finish with a practice of bilateral drawing, as a ritual for endings ...ending our session together, and as an evening ritual - ending your days before bed.
NO experience with art or art-making is required to attend.
Facilitated by art therapist, Shauna Kaendo. More info: www.heyshauna.com
Space is limited, so pre-registration is required for these workshops! See link to register.
