Bound By Nature is a eco-printing on paper workshop led by fibre artist Nora Ready – an invitation to explore the beauty of spring through local plants and handmade bookmaking. During the session, we’ll consider and respectfully forage some of the seasonal greens and flowers that are abundant here. Using a bundle and steam technique, we’ll make prints on watercolour paper. These will become the pages of our books. Next, we will learn a simple slip-knot binding technique to craft hand-bound booklets, with the option to embellish your prints and bindings using different materials. Each creation becomes a reflection of place, season, and your own creative expression. No experience is needed. All supplies are provided.
