We'll learn the basics of designing then digitally modelling parts to real-world dimensions for functional purposes.

By the end of this introductory class you will:

* Know how to break down 3D models into combinations of primitive shapes
* Understand basic CAD operations for manipulating geometry in 3D space
* Have designed and modelled your own stamp or cookie cutter in TinkerCAD
* Modelled a 3D printable cell-phone charging stand to real-world dimensions in OnShape

Note:
This is an interactive class, so please bring a laptop and mouse if you can, though a limited number of workstations will be available here if needed.

The software we're using is free, compatible with Mac/Linux/Windows, and runs in the web-browser even on very low-spec laptops.
