Working in the climate space often means navigating urgency, complexity, and ongoing collaboration across disciplines, sectors, and worldviews. We are frequently asked to think systemically, communicate across difference, and build partnerships, all while carrying a heavy cognitive and emotional load. This workshop offers a different way of engaging. In this one-hour session, participants are invited to move from thought into experience and to step into an embodied exploration of collaboration. Through a series of creative activities, participants will explore a live inquiry from their own work, noticing what emerges through body, imagination, and relational presence. Drawing on the Creative Connection approach (Natalie Rogers), this session opens space for forms of intelligence that are often underutilized in professional settings, including relational awareness and embodied insight. This event is part of a public follow-on workshop series tailing the 2026 Greater Victoria Climate Forum which brought together leaders from ~60 unique organizations doing climate / environment / sustainability work in the GVA. Facilitator Bios Anaïs Brusel Anaïs is originally from the Opal Coast in France. She holds a Masters degree in Transpersonal Psychology focused on creativity and innovation, as well as a Masters in Peace Studies. She has also apprenticed in Systemic Constellation Work under the supervision of Jan Hull. Anaïs' work integrates creativity, relational intelligence, and systems awareness to support deeper connection and collaborative exploration. Anaïs works at the IISAAK OLAM Foundation, an educational and Indigenous-led non-profit organization dedicated to supporting biological and cultural diversity through Indigenous Protected and Conserved Areas (IPCAs). Pearce Jones Pearce holds a Masters degree in Industrial Ecology and is currently pursuing a PhD in regenerative systems (Civil Engineering). His work explores the intersection of ecological thinking, systems design, and regenerative pathways, with a focus on creating more resilient and connected human and ecological systems. Pearce works at the IISAAK OLAM Foundation, an educational and Indigenous-led non-profit organization dedicated to supporting biological and cultural diversity through Indigenous Protected and Conserved Areas (IPCAs).
