Join us for fun afternoon of repairing, sharing, and caring for our community. Bring clothing to donate, learn creative repair skills, and connect with neighbours while giving garments a second life 🌿 14th of March, time 1pm - 4 pm Quadra Village Community Centre, 901 Kings Rd, Victoria BC RSVP on Eventbrite Refreshments will be provided 🍪 Mending Party: Got clothes that need a little love before you can wear or donate them? Come learn fun and creative ways to repair your clothing and extend the life of your favourite pieces. At the workshop you can: - Learn simple clothing repair skills - Get help fixing small issues like holes or tears - Try Sashiko-inspired patching techniques - Give garments a second life instead of throwing them away No experience necessary - all skill levels welcome! Community Clothing Drive: Have some spring and summer clothes you don't wear anymore? Let’s practice mindful giving together and support neighbours in the community! Please bring clean, new, or gently used clothing. Donate what you would give to a friend. Guidelines - Maximum 15 items per person - Spring & summer clothing - Shoes welcome - Clean and in good condition It is possible to drop-off items on the Friday before, from 9am-2pm.
