Piano Jams launches a brand-new series at The Beaumont—an electrifying blend of dueling pianos, contemporary dance, improvisation, classical showmanship, and spontaneous musical chaos. Curated by host Gregg Schiller (a.k.a. “Mozart”), the evening brings together some of Vancouver’s most exciting pianists and performers across jazz, classical, RiverDance, bluegrass and contemporary rock/pop. Gregg’s comedic Mozart persona guides the audience through each musical showdown with charm, wit, and theatrical flair. The night is punctuated by dynamic performances from Paper Rabbits Contemporary Dancers, weaving movement through the live piano duels and amplifying the energy in the room. With its mix of classical, jazz, rock, and improvisation, this theatre-in-the-round experience is accessible, surprising, and completely unpredictable—a true “something for everyone” musical variety showcase. Piano Jams takes place in The Beaumont’s main hall with limited seating for just 100 guests.
