REVOLUTION ABOVE DISORDER Revolution Above Disorder is the ever-evolving Vancouver-based neopsych/shoegaze project led by Irish artist Stav White, augmented by Mat Durie (guitar), Andrew Bishop (bass), and Cody Hiles (drums). The band deals in distorted drones, textured guitars, and the lurking presence of analog electronics to shape an expansive soundscape that is at once introspective and urgent. The songs trace the broken, beautiful edges of the human condition: personal struggle, desire, self-interrogation, and the lure of escapism. Onstage, Revolution Above Disorder delivers a dense, unyielding pulse - percussive, cathartic, and unrelenting. The band has performed alongside acts such as A Place To Bury Strangers, Holy Wave, MØAA, The KVB, New Candys, The Asteroid #4, Creux Lies, and Mint Field, appearing at events including the launch of Desert Daze North and Verboden Festival.
