Event Description
In this 1.5 hour Stress Reduction work shop I’ll Introduce myself and go over my experience and expertise around the topic of stress reduction, talk about the physiological effects of stress, and the benefits of stress reduction and relaxation.
Together we’ll go through a series of simple exercises, that I call RESET BUTTONS, which include movement, breathing, physical release through sound, and our body’s own stress reducing mechanism. As well, I’ll lead a guided grounding mediation, and discuss the benefits of ear seeds, and put ears seeds in any participants who wish them.
We’ll touch on many facets of stress, such as anxiousness, fear, stress, grief and emotions - and - what to do about it! Relaxation, Calmness, Groundedness, Peace, Happiness and Health.
I’ll detail the differences between the Sympathetic and Parasympathetic Nervous System and how that directly relates to stress and health.
It means looking at the mind, body and spirit as a whole unit - and treating it as such. Regardless of what you may believe about emotions, energy or spirit, relaxation heals us physically.
In this workshop, you’ll get some quick tools that you will have for the rest of your life!
