Join Dawn for a practice designed to nourish your nervous system.
In this workshop, we will explore the healing power of Yoga Nidra and Pranayama (breathing techniques). We will discuss the philosophy and ancient practice of Yoga Nidra and Pranayama practices, and how they help you regulate your nervous system and experience a state of deep rest and healing.
The Learning:
- You will gain an understanding of the philosophy and benefits of Yoga Nidra and setting a Sankalpa (intention).
- You will learn Pranayama techniques, which help harness the power of breath to cultivate relaxation.
The Experience:
- Dawn will guide you through a heart’s desire meditation to cultivate and connect to your Sankalpa (intention)
- Dawn will guide you through breathing techniques and a guided Yoga Nidra experience.
- The experience will be coupled with a calming soundscape to further nourish your nervous system.
You will leave feeling at ease in your body, emotional body and your mind. You will gain a deeper understanding of the benefits of Yoga Nidra and Pranayama and leave with tools to use in your life.
If you tend to get cool, bring an extra layer for warmth during the Yoga Nidra experience. A journal or a notebook may be useful to take notes or journal about your experience.
