A celebration of Black culture featuring an artist showcase, live music, DJs, food, vendors, and a curated art gallery experience. The Cookout is a Black-led cultural celebration rooted in music, art, and community — and of course, it turns into a party. The night kicks off with a live music artist showcase featuring 4 local artists; presented by OMG ( @openmicgrooves) -setting the tone before the DJs take over at 11pm until late. Expect high-energy sets and the kind of atmosphere that feels like a real Cookout: loud, joyful, and full of love. Alongside the music, there will be food available by Dembaako Kitchen, local vendors in our low stim space upstairs (a quieter chill area if anyone gets overwhelmed or just needs to take a beat), and a curated art gallery featuring two visual artists. This event is by and for Black culture, while welcoming everyone ready to show up, celebrate, and move with intention. Come early for the performances. Stay late for the party. Everyone's invited to The Cookout. Tickets are available as a PWYC system with $10 minimum. All proceeds go to support those involved in the event and we deeply appreciate your support. :) p.s. no one will be turned away for lack of funds. if you are facing financial barriers, please send an email to kaileeroberts@icloud.com Sponsored by DankMart + Skylight Warehouse
