Banfield Park & Dock

Banfield Park is located in Victoria West along the Gorge Waterway. There are tennis courts, a basketball court, a playground, walking trails and access to the Galloping Goose Regional Trail and Selkirk Trestle. The park is home to Banfield Commons permaculture food forest and the Victoria West tea garden. Victoria West Community Centre is also located in the park. Banfield Dock Banfield Dock provides easy access to deep water for swimming and paddling in the Gorge Waterway. The newly expanded dock is a huge hit and has been well received by the community. In response to its popularity, the City has added more garbage bins, bike racks and a third accessible portable toilet.
