Event Description
Phillips Backyard Music Festival is thrilled to be back again this summer, going all in on one incredible weekend of music – July 10 to 12, 2026 – featuring next-level headline talent alongside up-and-coming Canadian & BC artists and beloved local performers.
These world class headliners are sure to astound. Whether it’s Chance The Rapper, one of the most influential, genre-defying rappers of this millennia, or the satirical, eccentric indie-rock stylings and magnetic stage presence of Father John Misty, or the sprawling anthems of indie rock heroes Modest Mouse, each day ends with Artists not to be missed.
Dig a little deeper into the lineup and you’ll find gems throughout. The intense, avant-garde math/psych rock of Angine De Poitrine are melting brains as they blow up the internet. Sudan Archives returns to BC to show case her unique brand of genre bending blend of R&B and Electro-violin. Canadian icons Wolf Parade are back with their chaotic post-punk/pop sound, reinvigorated due to Heated Rivalry and that scene (IYKYK). Don’t miss the legendary Duckwrth, known for his unique feel-good music and dynamite stage show, the bittersweet internet pop sounds of Victoria’s prodigal daughter Sophia Stel, or the perfect west coast indie-folk of Jon and Roy.
