Event Details Date: Saturday March 21, 2026 Time: The event runs from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM Location: The Centre of the Universe, Dominion Astrophysical Observatory, 5071 West Saanich Rd, Victoria, BC V9E 2E7. Admission: Tickets are a $20 donation each, and every attendee will receive a charitable receipt. ✨ Event Highlights 🎤 Guest Speaker Dan Posey: Learn about the fascinating history of the site during a special presentation. 🌌 Planetarium Shows: Experience enlightening presentations in the planetarium, making complex astronomical concepts easy to understand. 🔭 Dome Tours: Get an up-close look at the historic Plaskett Telescope, once the largest in the world. ☕ Refreshments: Enjoy light refreshments throughout the evening. 🌠 Star Gazing (Weather Permitting): Peer through research-grade telescopes (including the 16" and RASC member telescopes) to observe the night sky, weather permitting. The event goes on rain or shine, with plenty to do even if the weather doesn't cooperate.
