There's a certain kind of Tuesday that can go one of two ways. You can go home, sit down, and let the couch make the decisions. Or you can lace up, show up at Small Gods by 6pm, and run until your legs remind you they exist. We know which Tuesday we prefer. Run Club happens every Tuesday night at Small Gods. The run kicks off at 6pm. The beers start whenever you cross the finish line - no stopwatch, no judgment, no one clocking your splits. Pace is optional here, and we mean that sincerely. This isn't a training program dressed up as a social event. It's a social event that happens to involve running. Sidney is a genuinely beautiful place to move through on foot. The Peninsula has a way of rewarding people who bother to slow down - or in this case, speed up just enough to work up a thirst. Either way, you end up back at the brewery, and that's always been the point. The crowd is a mix. Fast people. Slow people. People who run three times a week and people who ran once in 2019 and are cautiously getting back into it. Nobody's keeping score on anyone but themselves, and even then, loosely. Run for fun? Maybe. Run for beer? Absolutely. Run because Tuesday needed a reason? That works too. Show up. Run. Drink something cold and well-made.
