VicFest: Celebrate Victoria is your excuse to actually be downtown on Victoria Day. It’s a free, all-ages event taking over Centennial Square, hosted by Dopa, IMM, and the Downtown Victoria Business Association, and it’s built around exploring what the city has to offer. It also marks the finish line of Unlock Victoria, a two-week, city-wide walking challenge (May 4–18) run through the Dopa app, and a photo race with your chance to win $500 cash prizes. Here’s what’s going on: * Pop-in wellness activations + live demos from local businesses around the city * A solid lineup of food trucks (come hungry) & the Lamppost Beer Bus to wash it down * The big leaderboard reveal + raffle prizes from the Unlock Victoria challenge * First access to the Dopa Passport, which includes discounts from 20+ downtown businesses * Vic Quest: a paid, fast-paced challenge where you hit booths, complete photo prompts, and compete for cash * Music, energy, and a packed square (expect a good crowd) * And it all supports something meaningful, 50% of proceeds go to the Parkinson Wellness Project Whether you’re there to compete, wander, eat, or just hang out with friends, it’s the way to celebrate Victoria Day.
