Restoring ourselves through movement. Join AIR + GEM for an inclusive movement session focused on expressive exploration and community making. This event has two parts. Part one is the activity session where participants are invited to try Zumba dance. Part two is our athletic clothing swap, where you can get new clothes or bring your old ones to give back to the community. No previous experience or donations are required to participate. ABOUT THE EVENT: Bring some clothes, active equipment , and/or accessories you no longer need! Feel free to drop off early donations at the Gender Empowerment Centre (SUB room B107). Take what you like and enjoy your finds! Please note: We will be using the washrooms as fitting rooms. It is a totally free, community-oriented way to change up your wardrobe! Doors will open at 12, items will be displayed around the room for you to browse at your own pace. At 1:15 p.m., our zumba class will start! This is a free, 1 hour-long session. Please register to save your spot! Once the class is over, we will resume our swap until 3 p.m.
